The Lord in His word speaks of searching for a man to stand in the gap, and to build a wall, that He would not destroy a nation!(Eze 22:30) One of my life missions is to fore run a call that is being awaken in the hearts of many in this hour. The Lord is raising up a new kind of missionary. These missionaries are known as “Intercessory Missionaries.” They carry the same attributes of a missionary(providing prayer, evangelist outreach, ext.) yet their primal focus is to sustain, and influence a city, or a nation to come to the knowledge of God through prayer, worship, and fasting. They are key in releasing the move of God’s Spirit, and establishing 24 hour House’s of Prayer.
Our desire is to connect to the heart of the Father that this generation may know, and see the love of God. For too long generations have been battling to find love. It’s time to “Contend for a generation that’s in constant contention!” Jesus in His word commissions His apostles to raise disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that He have commanded them.(Matt. 28:19-20) God is calling us to release, and continue in the apostles doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayer. We are zealous to see this come to pass, and will live my life to prepare the way for the Lord’s return. Some may ask “why waste your life pursuing such extremes seeing that it’s so vain; for the youth of this nation have been corrupted for so long?” Out response is found in scripture:
“37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” (Matt. 9:37-39)
We are willing to give it all for love as a laborer just as the God-head gave it all for love. Ushering in the Lord of the harvest through a fasted lifestyle, and prayer!
The Orlando House of Prayer Mission’s Base in Ocoee, Florida is well on its way to becoming a 24/7 house of prayer. The goal is a mission base community setting, a hub for 24/7 corporate worship, and prayer equipping centers for the end time harvest. There will be healing teams/rooms, and mercy, and justice mission trips and outreaches. The prayer room will be the heart of the mission base providing the power for the base to function.
I am currently a Full-Time Intercessory Missionary at the Orlando House of Prayer Mission’s Base, and I am working on raising enough support to keep Heather and I rooted as laborers in the OHOP Mission’s Base. It is both awkward, and difficult for anyone to ask for financial support, but it is part of the price one has to pay to be a missionary.
