I am so blessed to have a family that I have…My wife Heather is amazing! my son Aiden Samuel never ceases to amaze me! and my new mini-me Emery Zadok has been truly fullfilling as scripture and being “…a blessings from the Lord” (ps 127:3) I’ve take these past two weeks off in order to get off my “PREVIOUS” schedule, to create a “NEW” schedule, and then create a “COMBINED” schedule of the two with divine wisdom. Something that I can say I’m blessed that Holy Spirit placed in me. Is to see something months ahead, and prepare for what’s coming!

By the time Emery Zadok blessed us with his presence on the earth. We were already planning the entire 9months before his arrival. l,lWhen he got here it was a smooth transition from hospital to home. This fasniating child is astonishing us in many ways. His personality is spoken for even in his silence. His name could be translated “Industrious Leader of Righteousness”; we’ve gotten prophetic words over his life of being like Joseph (in the old testiment), a leader to endure trials in the end times, and a lover of God but when you hold this precious child. You can feel the sincere confidence, and peace he carries, and is called to lead with.

This month is so exciting to me, because now we begin our “COMBINED” schedule. I return to the prayer room first with just Aiden, and then with my wife Heather, and newbord Emery. This month is going to be the begining of something beautiful, and I am blessed to know that my family and I are under the leadership of the Lord. It’s simply said like this “fall on the rock, less the rock fall on you”…or…”it’s always easier when you lean”

blessings

Entering this new year was definitely a breath of fresh air! Excitement because this is the year the newest addition to the Botero family; Emery Zadok will be arriving! Joyous because we enter into a “NEW YEAR” leaving behind the past failures and successes to achieve greater goals that the Lord has in store for us as a people. Overwhelming at the understanding that as we age, we approach the return of our Bridegroom King with such more reality, and nearness of this blessed revelation. With all these thoughts in my mind, and heart, I’m gripped with the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord! The need of the manifest presence of Gods reverential fear is becoming more than a theme, or a desire, but a inward groaning for Holiness, and a zeal for His Kingdom to be released on Earth as it is in Heaven.

It began in the month of December the Lord was bringing me back to a previous reading schedule I would have with the book of Proverbs. I would read a chapter a day for the day I was on in the month. My flesh didn’t want to start this reading schedule again, so I told the Lord “If today is the first then, I’ll start the reading schedule again” Yep…you guessed it…it was the first! So I began to read Proverbs Chapter 1 and I could feel my heart being refreshed with the wisdom found in this book. I finally got towards the end of the chapter on verse 23:

<sup>23</sup> Turn at my rebuke;
Surely I will pour out my spirit on you;
I will make my words known to you.
24 Because I have called and you refused,
I have stretched out my hand and no one regarded,
25 Because you disdained all my counsel,
And would have none of my rebuke,
<sup>26</sup> I also will laugh at your calamity;
I will mock when your terror comes,
27 When your terror comes like a storm,
And your destruction comes like a whirlwind,
When distress and anguish come upon you.
<sup>28</sup> “ Then they will call on me, but I will not answer;
They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me.
29 Because they hated knowledge
And did not choose the fear of the LORD, Pro. 1:23-29 (NKJV)

The first thought in my head was “MAKE THIS ATTRIBUTE OF THE LORD REAL IN MY LIFE!” I wanted to know this God who is so patient and kind, wanting us to cling to him with all of our strength. Forsaking all lovers, and choosing to walk and live in the wisdom of God. Which is found in choosing to fear the Lord! I COULDN’T SHAKE IT! The more I meditated on this simple truth the more I realized how small I really am. How I am but a pot of clay in the potters hands. How if he chooses to break me, or refine me, I am subject to His authority because He is the creator. This meditation reduced the fear of man, and has me on a prophetic journey to develop myself, and others to grow in this precious, precious, PRECIOUS UNDERSTANDING! We are to live our lives with a purpose. The purpose being found in the creator. Creation returning to it’s creator, and it’s created purpose. To love God, and abide in him.

This year is significant in many ways. I believe this is a year of preparation for pending judgments for our nation, and to cultivate oil in our lamps that we’d be ready for His return. These two truths are something we shouldn’t take lightly, but be proactive in developing a sincere relationship with the Lord, and discerning the times and seasons He has ordained for us in our lives. I encourage, and urge you, pursue the Lord! and seek Him as fine Gold!
